Can You Soften Enough to Receive?

Dear you,
Most people learn how to chase.
They keep going.
They keep striving.
They keep everything together.
Very few learn how to receive.
Over time, the body starts to believe that safety only comes from effort.
So slowing down feels uncomfortable.
Rest feels unproductive.
Softness feels strange.
But this New Moon in Taurus invited us to try something new.
Taurus encourages us to reconnect with our bodies.
To enjoy pleasure.
To be grounded.
To honor the importance of slowing down enough to truly feel.
Abundance isn’t just about money.
Abundance also includes:
the ability to soften,
to trust,
to accept support,
to enjoy pleasure,
to let life meet you.
At Ritual Night - New Moon in Taurus, we came together to explore:
🌑 Pleasure as power
🌑 Sexual energy as life force
🌑 The body as a temple
🌑 Receiving instead of chasing
🌑 Sacred fire as purification and clarity
Through breath, movement, sensory practices, conscious connection, and ritual, we start to let go of overthinking and reconnect with sensation, truth, and aliveness.
This isn’t about performance.
It’s about being present.
It’s a gentle reminder that your body doesn’t need to be forced open.
It softens when it feels safe.
Maybe the question isn’t: “How do I get more?”
But: “Can I soften enough to accept what is already trying to reach me?”
This is what we connected to in our last Ritual Night - New Moon in Taurus Pleasure • Devotion • Sacred Fire • Abundance
With presence,
Pauline
