‘Aftercare’ is an integrative practice and important step, post intimacy, self pleasure or body work sessions.
Doing this work, I take things like ‘Aftercare’ for granted.
I forget how powerful it is for people to start implementing these tantric practices.
I felt inspired to share with you some inside tips.
Here are some of the most supportive acts of aftercare, that you can ask for or implement today:
✨ Communication - Sometimes a simple check in can remind you that you’re cared for and not alone in your vulnerable state of openness.
✨ Nourishment - Often a snack or tea can help ground the body after peak experiences.
✨ Presence - Non sensual, grounding touch / cuddling / holding / breathing
✨ Journalling - this can be a great way to care for yourself and reflect, even after your own self pleas/re practice.
